Which brings us to the long-going identity crisis in car land. It?s a SNAFU classic. Possible whys: the current handful of auto designers all go to the same schools, gain the same ideas, rotate between the same big firms after graduation, therefore tend to regurgitate the same bilge? Not unlike fashion’s current lack of newness! Downside of globalization? Surely the fact that the national lines have been blurred do not excuse a lack of creativity/imagination!  [Pix via AutoIndex].
