This & That, Ceci et Cela

Went to H2oLoo (Waterloo) was fun: we did lunch, went to downtown Kitchener, saw a quilt exhibition @ city hall, then drove into Germany in Ontario (all little villages/hamlets named Baden, New Hamburg, etc.). We went to the Baden Emporium (a crafts, antiques, Xmas, vintage bkstore AND coffeeshop all in one.) Very retro cool. Even the furniture in the coffeeshop was actual retro pieces; made of materials like corduroy and old cut velvet in those screamin’ 50s/60s shades. Dorkingly enough, I forgot to take a camera. And their website does a crass injustice to the actual layout/ambience of the place.
